Description

A type of headdress characteristic of Kazakh women. Made from white cotton fabric with a triangular cut. The item consists of two layers of fabric. On the forehead area, around the neckline, and on the front part (өңірі), patterns are embroidered with red, pink, and purple threads.
Date: 1950s.
Technique: cutting, sewing, embroidery.
Size: back and front part – 63 cm, front part – 116 cm.
