Description: circular medal. Obverse: Depicts celebratory fireworks, the “Motherland Calls” statue from the memorial complex dedicated to the heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad, and the dates “1945-1975.” Reverse: Bears the inscriptions “TO THE PARTICIPANT OF THE WAR” and “XXX Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.”. The medal is suspended by a loop and ring from a pentagonal mount covered with a red silk moiré ribbon.
