Description

Traditional Kazakh women’s headdress.
It is made of white cotton fabric. The fabric is gathered in folds, which gives it volume. The surface is embroidered with ornamental patterns in red thread – smooth lines and curls, characteristic of Kazakh decorative art. Kimesh is made long, the lower part hangs freely, covering the chest and shoulders.
This headdress not only emphasizes the grace of Kazakh women, but also expresses their age and social status.
