Kimeshek

Description

A traditional female headwear. It is sewn from white cotton fabric, cut in a triangular shape. The chest part and “күлпара” are made from two-layered fabric. The separately cut forehead element and top piece are gathered together, secured on top with a “төбелдірік” (decorative upper part). The forehead, neck cutout, and chest part are adorned with embroidery in yellow and brown threads.

Size: back length - 70×34 cm, circumference – 1.59 cm, face cutout – 20×22 cm.
