The obverse features the Small State Coat of Arms of the Russian Empire, the title “State Credit Note,” the denomination “Ten Rubles,” a statement guaranteeing exchange for gold coin, the signatures of the Governor and Cashier, and the year of issue, 1909. The reverse contains an excerpt from the law of 14 November 1897. The banknote is decorated with intricate guilloche patterns and special security features designed to protect against counterfeiting.
