This exhibit is a commemorative badge issued in 1970 to mark the 25th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The badge is designed in the shape of a five-pointed star. In the center of the star is a circular medallion depicting a soldier holding a bright red flag and crushing a black German eagle underfoot, with a weapon in hand. The dates “1945-1970” appear on the left, while the inscription “25 Years of Victory in the War 1941-1945” is placed along the lower edge. The upper shield-shaped section features the St. George ribbon and a laurel branch, traditional symbols of military glory and victory. The badge is a significant Soviet commemorative artifact that preserves the memory of the Second World War and reflects the tradition of honoring the courage and sacrifice of its participants.
