A landscape depicting the Bes-Shatyr valley, where the natural environment merges with monuments of ancient history. At the center, near the bend of a tranquil blue river, rises a group of burial mounds whose dark triangular forms create a distinct, expressive rhythm. Beyond the mounds unfolds a wide green plain, bordered by an extensive ridge of pinkish-purple cliffs and the majestic snow-capped peaks of distant mountains. The color palette relies on a resonant combination of ochre, terracotta, and violet-brown earth tones with the pure blue and azure hues of the water, sky, and mountain distances. Free, locally impasto brushstrokes and the lively texture of the paint layer lend plastic expressiveness to the natural forms while enhancing the vibrancy of the color. The grandeur of the mountain setting and the silent presence of the burial mounds evoke a sense of timelessness, underscoring the indelible link between history and nature.
