Description

Author: Kasteyev, Abylkhan. 1904-1973
A mountain landscape: in the foreground, blossoming apple trees bloom against lush green grass. In the middle ground, a valley unfolds with white rest houses nestled among the trees. Beyond the valley, mountain slopes rise toward distant peaks beneath a blue sky filled with white clouds. The composition is built on a gentle movement from the flowering foreground into the depth of the valley and further to the mountain ranges, bound together by atmospheric perspective. The execution is painterly and detailed, featuring careful rendering of the foliage, the terrain, and the distant planes. The color scheme pairs a rich green palette with the white accents of the buildings and blossoming trees, contrasted by the cool blues of the snowy peaks. The work captures a serene sense of space and the peaceful beauty of mountain nature. At the lower left - signature and date.
