Lamp support

Description

The heel of a lamp is made of well-kneaded, dense red dough with traces of fine sand particles. The outer surface of the heel is covered with red engobe, over which a layer of transparent dark brown glaze has been applied. It has a dome-shaped platform, on the surface of which a stamp is visible along the edge of the heel and three imprinted finger impressions in the center of the platform.
