Description
A red clay jug covered with glazed stripes of red engobe, a machine-made piece. The neck is elongated and conical, ending in a compressed spout on the rim. The body is straight and conical, tapering to a flat bottom. The hand-held loop-shaped handle is attached from the neck to the shoulder. Radial lines are incised along the shoulder and neck, indicating the vessel was shaped on a potter’s wheel.
