Description
The lamp is made from well-kneaded, dense red clay body. The surface of the vessel is covered with a red engobe on both the interior and exterior, over which a layer of transparent brown glaze was applied. The reservoir of the lamp is cylindrical in shape, with a narrowed rim and a slightly raised open-form spout. The base is flat. A spiral relief is present at the bottom of the reservoir.
