Description

Zhense – a traditional item associated with Kazakh national clothing or military equipment. The main part of the item is made of leather, while the outer surface is covered with a yellow-colored metal coating. The metal surface is decorated with floral and wavy ornamental patterns. Raised metal decorative elements are arranged along the edges. The lower sections are embellished with a cross-pattern made of red thread and finished with red edging. The overall appearance of the item reflects decorative features characteristic of traditional Kazakh craftsmanship.
