Description
Crupper - a part of horse harness. This item passes under the horse’s tail and is attached to the rear part of the saddle to prevent the saddle from sliding forward towards the horse’s neck. It is made of leather, with the surface covered in white metal and decorated with ornamental studs and small domed metal fittings. The central part of the crupper and the connecting straps are handcrafted with great skill. The crupper is a unique object that reflects the aesthetic and ethnographic value of national handicraft and horse harness.
