Dombra

Description

Dombra is a traditional musical instrument of the Kazakh people and is preserved as a personal item of Bekbolat Atambayev. The instrument is made of pine wood. The headstock features two tuning mechanisms, and the neck has frets made of sinew. The body is convex, with the front decorated with ornaments depicting animals, birds, and plants. The strings are made of sinew, and the surface is coated with a transparent lacquer with a brownish tint.
