Description

L. E. Sedelnikov’s Badge “For Active Work” of the USSR All-Union Society “Znanie” (Knowledge)”
The badge is decagonal (ten-sided) in shape and is attached via a loop and ring to a shaped mount covered with red moiré ribbon. On the obverse, in the center, there is an image of an open book with rays emanating from it. Behind the book, there is a burning torch covered with red enamel. Around the edge of the badge, the inscription reads: “USSR All-Union Society ‘Znanie’.”
On the reverse, in the center, there is a three-line inscription: “For Active Work,” with a laurel branch below it. The back of the mount has a pin-type fastener.
