Medal “60 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”

Description

Medal “60 Years of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”, belonging to M. M. Berezin.
The medal is round in shape. On the obverse, the image of the Order of Victory is depicted, and the date “1945-2005” is placed between the lower rays of the star. On the reverse, the inscription reads: “60 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.” Laurel branches surround the central part.
The medal is attached via a loop and an oval link to a pentagonal mount covered with red silk moiré ribbon. Along the edges of the ribbon run five stripes: three black and two orange. The outer black stripes are bordered with orange stripes. The edges are outlined with a rim. All images, inscriptions, and numbers are in relief. The fastening on the back of the mount is a pin-type fastener.
