Description

M.S. Demin’s Medal “30 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”. The medal is circular in shape, featuring a relief image of E.V. Vuchetich’s “Motherland Calls” sculpture framed by festive fireworks on its front. To the left of the sculpture is a pentagon star above a laurel branch depicting the date “1945-1975.” On the back side of the medal, the upper part is inscribed with “Uchastniku voyny” around the edges, and it reads, “XXX years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945” in the center, with a relief image of a sickle and hammer on the ribbon at the bottom. The edges of the medal are bordered. The medal is attached to a pentagonal base covered with silk with black, orange, red, and green alternating stripes through a loop and ring. The edges of the ribbon are bordered with narrow orange stripes. The back of the base features a pin-like hook.
