Seal

Description

Seal - a personal seal used by Fatima Gabitova. The exhibit is triangular. The front surface features a raised seal die. The elements of the die are made in a mirror-reversed form, ensuring that the inscription appears correctly when the seal is stamped. In the center is a six-petaled star-shaped symbol, with the inscription “Gor. Alma-Ata” below it. The lower part bears the name “GABITOVA F. G.” The sides of the triangle feature additional raised inscriptions and linear elements. The reverse side has a round handle designed for manual use of the seal. The surface of the object shows signs of darkening and wear caused by prolonged use and the passage of time.
