Board for the game of Togyzkumalak (Kazakh national game)

Description:
The board contains 18 pits arranged along the edges, each about 2 cm deep and oval in shape. In the center, there are two additional pits. The edge pits are bordered with small nails serving a decorative purpose. The board is carved from a single piece of wood and bears traces of smoke-darkening. On the front side, bone elements in the shape of a flower are fixed with nails for decoration.
