German Translation of Ilyas Zhansugirov’s Poem “Kulager”

Description

This publication is a German-language translation of the renowned poem “Kulager” by the prominent Kazakh poet Ilyas Zhansugirov. The book was published in Germany in 2016 by “Büchergilde”. The German translation was made by writer, poet, and translator Gert Heidenreich.

The centre of the cover features an image of a graceful horse standing with its back to the viewer. It represents the legendary Kulager. The title of the publication and information about the author and translator are presented in German. The name of the publishing house, “Edition büchergilde”, is indicated in the upper right corner.
