Description

A wooden saucer is a traditional piece of kitchen and tableware used by the Kazakh people. It is intended for serving national dishes such as meat, baursaks, butter, zhent, and others. The item is hand-carved from natural wood. It is round in shape, with a wide, slightly concave rim. The bottom is slightly raised, providing stability. The natural yellowish-brown colour of the wood has been preserved. Dark spots are visible on the inner surface, indicating traces of grease and food residue.
