Description

The jug is made of red clay, coated with a light-coloured slip and covered with a dark-brown sedimentary deposit. The vessel was made on a potter’s wheel. The neck is elongated and conical in shape, ending in a thickened rectangular rim. The body is straight and conical, tapering towards the flat base. The handle is loop-shaped, handmade, and attached from the neck to the shoulder; impressions are visible at the points of attachment.
