Description
The oil lamp is made of well-kneaded, dense red clay. The reservoir is rounded in shape and has a slightly raised, open-type spout with a rectangular edge. The outer and inner surfaces of the vessel are covered with a light-coloured slip, over which a layer of transparent, colourless glaze has been applied. The vessel features underglaze ornamentation in the form of three interlinked circles in yellow and brown. The rim is narrowed, with flattened-oval edges in cross-section.
