Description
A ceramic jug with a damaged base and areas of glaze loss across much of its surface. The vessel has a spherical body and a tall cylindrical neck. The upper part of the vessel’s body features Arabic inscriptions in glaze, including fragments from the Quran. It is made of pure clay, well fired, and coated with blue paint.
