Samovar

Description

A metal vessel with a spout used for boiling tea water. The interior consists of a firebox for burning fuel and a surrounding chamber filled with water. The top is covered with a lid. Handles are attached for carrying and for opening/closing the lid. The rim features images of 15 medals. It bears the embossed mark: «Фабрика М. Слюзберга в Туле» The front side is slightly dented. End of XIX-beginning of XX centuries. The city of Tula. Russia.
