Description
Fragment of a wooden door discovered during archaeological excavations at the Ornek settlement.The surface of the door is decorated with carved ornaments. The wood is heavily charred and has acquired a dark brown color; traces of burning caused by fire are visible on the surface. The carving has been partially preserved, and the composition of the ornaments resembles traditional geometric and floral motifs. This artifact attests to the high level of architectural art and woodworking craftsmanship of the medieval period. It serves as an important historical source for studying the building culture and daily life of the inhabitants of the ancient city.
