Description
10th-12th centuries AD
A round decorative mirror with a convex depression in the center of its surface. A relief image of three animals of the same form, resembling a mythological bird. The second surface, intended for image reflection, is glossy and smooth.
Village of Eginsu, Aksu District, Zhetysu Region. Accidental find. 2013.
Manufactured using casting, molding, and embossing techniques.
Diameter - 8 cm, thickness - 0.7-0.9 cm.
