A round-shaped, high-quality casting with natural spots.
The outer edge of the mirror has a vertical bevel. The surface on which the image is projected is shiny and smooth. In the center of the relief surface, there is a groove for threading a string. The outer lip and the inner segmented circles are separated by a 1.5 cm wide band. Its entire surface is covered with Arabic calligraphy. The letters are executed in the Maghribi style, which originates from Kufic script. The area of the circle is decorated with two sphinx figures rendered in a heraldic manner. The sphinx has a human head and an animal’s body.
Manufactured using casting, molding, and embossing techniques.
Diameter - 11 cm, thickness - 0.6 cm.
Condition
The edge of the mirror is chipped and jagged, darkened.
