Description

Commemorative medal “30 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.” The award belonged to I.E. Smolensky. It is made of brass and has a round shape with a diameter of 36 mm. The obverse features the monument by E.V. Vuchetich “Motherland” against the backdrop of a festive salute, a laurel branch, a five-pointed star, and the dates “1945-1975.” The reverse side bears the inscriptions “PARTICIPANT OF THE WAR,” “XXX years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945,” and an image of the sickle and hammer. All elements are rendered in relief, and the edges of the medal are framed. The medal is attached to a silk moiré ribbon.
