Description

Imprint of a elm leaf. A paleobotanical fossil specimen belonging to the flora of the Paleogene period. The surface of the rock has preserved the imprint of an elm leaf. The specimen testifies to the characteristics of the vegetation cover of that time and points to warm and humid climatic conditions. Ulytau region, Kent Zhayrema.
