An intimate still life with a red polka-dot teapot at the centre of the composition; beside it stands a small bowl of the same warm hue; in the foreground are apples and a dish of sliced fruit. The background is enlivened by a bright decorative ornament with curls of yellow tones. The colouring is warm and rich; the painterly manner is soft: the forms are modelled in colour and light, the contours blurred.
