An architectural landscape: a religious complex with mazars against a hilly range. At the centre is a large domed structure with a row of smaller domes and arched openings. The buildings are set into the hilly landscape, whose slopes are rendered in broad planes of colour. The space is built up in planes but without deep perspective, tending toward flatness and decorativeness. The handling is free and sketch-like, with a translucent texture and a generalized treatment of forms.
