At the center of the genre composition is a domestic scene inside a yurt: two women seated on the floor are embroidering patterns on a felt carpet. On the right, a girl holds one corner of the felt piece and attentively observes the work. On the left, through the open doors of the yurt, a view of the steppe landscape is revealed, connecting the intimate interior scene with the surrounding natural environment. The color scheme is based on a combination of warm ochre-brown tones, soft whites and yellows, as well as cool bluish-green hues. The painting manner is free, with soft brushwork and slightly blurred contours.
