The winding shoreline, large stones in the foreground, and the vertical lines of the trees create a rhythmic spatial structure and a sense of depth. The light water surface and distant architectural silhouettes convey the atmosphere of a calm coastal environment. The painterly manner is sketch-like, characterized by light, free brushstrokes and attention to the rendering of the light and air environment. Lower left - signature; lower right - date.
