In the foreground, a winding country path runs among trees and shrubs rendered in soft green and ochre tones. The background is occupied by a chain of mountains with sharp peaks enveloped in a light atmospheric haze. The space is constructed in multiple planes, with a gradual transition from the saturated tones of the foreground to the cool bluish-lilac hues of the mountain massif. In the lower left corner, there is the artist’s signature and date.
