Description

A traditional wall-mounted embroidered carpet that served as an interior decoration for a yurt.
It has a classic rectangular shape. The decorative embroidered part is a U-shaped arch that borders the top and side edges. The outer edge is decorated with a wide border made of fabric in a rich red color. The main fabric is divided into diamond-shaped cells by bright, contrasting lines. Inside each diamond, complex symmetrical plant motifs - flowers and buds - are embroidered. Along the edges of the diamonds and in the connecting patterns, there are elements of “қошқармүйіз” - ram’s horns. The lining is made of black fabric.
