Description
A fragment of large ceramic ware, found in the archaeological excavations of the Utyrly settlement (9th-12th centuries), is part of a wall or bottom. The inner surface is decorated with a complex concentric ornament. At the center, there is a small round element of orange-pink color, serving as a compositional core. Surrounding it are thin, swirling black leaves forming a pattern. The ornament is executed in a black-red color scheme on a light background.
Date: 9th-12th centuries.
