Boots

Description

Вoots are made in various styles depending on the person’s age, gender, and the season. In addition to leather and sole materials, birch bark, wooden nails, sinew, and strong thread are used in the making of boots. In earlier times, Kazakh boots were sewn with straight soles, allowing them to be worn interchangeably on either foot. Later, the practice of making boots with curved soles, distinguishing right from left, appeared.
