Description

Description: The wooden pounding tool used in the keli (grain mortar) is called a kelsap. The pounding head of the kelsap, which is used for husking grain, is made heavy, and two handles extend from the gripping area. The kelsap is made from hard types of wood. In the middle of the kelsap there are two handles, shaped to be comfortable to hold by hand.
