Description
Description: A tool used by blacksmiths and jewellers for melting and working various metals, supplying air to the furnace. The larger the bellows, the higher the air pressure delivered through its nozzle to the fire. The bellows has a pear-shaped form and is made of wood. To hold the wooden parts together, two thin wooden crossbars are fixed at the top and bottom. On both sides, leather is attached for blowing the fire, and the leather is kept in a contracted position. On each side there are two wooden handles.
