Description

While studying at the university’s Faculty of Geography, Serikbol Kondybay, in accordance with the curriculum, had the opportunity to visit many republics of the Soviet Union and become acquainted with them. As he traveled to different regions, he sought to develop tourism in Mangystau. Therefore, he devoted his diploma thesis to this topic.
Although his teachers, who noticed his aptitude for science, urged him to stay at the university, Serikbol Kondybay, being the youngest in his family and wishing to contribute to the development of his homeland, chose to return to Mangystau.
The cover of the diploma thesis lists the name of the institution, administrative details, the faculty and department, the thesis title - “Recreational Resources of the Mangystau Region” - and the date of defense. The work comprises 99 pages and is entirely handwritten in Russian.
