Description
Rıng - a traditional ornamental ring worn on the finger.
The bezel is two-tiered, oval in shape, with a red-colored glass insert. The surface of the insert features a decorative pattern of two triangles, divided in the center by a line made in false granulation (filigree), with curled motifs on the sides.
The edge of the bezel and the base of the insert are bordered with a false granulation line, and between them is a pressed ribbon with a geometric design. On the side of the bezel, there is a pressed ribbon with a leaf-like pattern, also separated by a line of false granulation.
Date: Early 20th century.
Material: Silver, red glass.
Technique: Casting, chasing, pressing, glass setting.
Size: Width - 3.3 cm; length - 4.3 cm; height - 0.8 cm; weight - 31.30 g.
Condition
Slight dents, signs of wear and dirt. The inner coating of the glass has faded, and the glass is cracked.
