Description

Kuman - a vessel for liquids, traditionally used for washing hands. It is made from a 3mm thick copper plate and shaped like a triangle with rounded corners. On both sides of the vessel, there are convex oval decorations with fine chased patterns. The neck thickens in the middle and widens towards the top, closed with a decorative lid shaped like a bird’s beak, attached to the neck with a movable hinge. The spout is conical, curved in an arc, ending with a rounded knob. The base is shaped like a truncated cone and reinforced with a copper plate fixed with eight rivets.
