Description
Cast iron. The iron has a triangular shape with convex edges. The base of the triangle measures 10×9 cm, and the soleplate length is 20 cm. The body of the iron is hollow. The upper part functions as a hinged lid, which is secured to the lower part via a latch located on the sharp side of the triangle. The lower edge of the lid is decorated with rounded teeth. At a distance of 1.5 cm from the soleplate, there are segment-shaped ventilation holes (4 cm long, up to 0.5 cm high): two on each side and one on the back. The handle is made of wood, 7 cm in height, attached to iron supports. The inner side of the lid bears a factory mark in the form of an open ring (4.5 cm in diameter) with the inscription “UMZ. Kasimov.” Inside the body, the round base is embossed with parallel lines, and a rounded segment-shaped part is located near the ventilation holes (6 cm long, up to 3 cm high). One side wall features a small circular mark (2 cm in diameter) and a number.
