Description
A wooden stick with runic inscriptions, discovered in 1932 at the Ashik-Tas site on the Talas River at a depth of 5 m during geological exploration. The stick is made of spruce wood. Four lines of “runic” signs - letters - are inscribed on its four sides. The original stick is preserved in the State Hermitage Museum of Russia.
