Set: “Veteran of Labour” Medal and Certificate Awarded to Tobaniyaz Bozhigitov

Description

The set consists of the “Veteran of Labour” medal and its accompanying certificate awarded to Tobaniyaz Bozhigitov. The medal is made of oxidized metal and has a circular form. The obverse features relief images of the hammer and sickle, a laurel branch, radiating rays, the inscription “USSR,” and a ribbon bearing the raised inscription “VETERAN OF LABOUR.” The medal is attached by a loop and ring to a pentagonal suspension covered with grey silk moiré ribbon with longitudinal white and red stripes along the edges. The certificate is a booklet with printed text supplemented by handwritten ink entries identifying the recipient. It records the award by decision of the Executive Committee of the Guryev Regional Council of People’s Deputies on behalf of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. Official stamp and signatures are preserved. The object has historical, memorial, and local historical significance.
