Mangistau District Museum

The historical and local history museum of Mangistau region is one of the largest museums of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The museum was founded in 1975, it has more than 52,000 exhibits in the history, archeology, ethnography, nature and culture collections of the region, the best of which are displayed in the exposition halls consisting of the departments of nature, archeology, history and ethnography, modern history.
