The Alginsky district department of the Aktobe Museum of History and Local Lore

The Alginsky district department of the Aktobe Museum of History and Local Lore was officially opened on April 30, 2014. The museum is located in the city of Alga, on the 2nd floor of the district House of Culture, with a total area of   105 sq.m. The historical and cultural heritage of our region is the exposition, which consists of 3 hatchery halls: 1-hall "Archeology, ethnography, life and nature," 2-hall "Independence," 3-hall "History of Alga, chemical plant, figures and workers of the region".

Currently, the museum has collected and has about 2,000 exhibits. Areas of activity of the museum: collecting material on spiritual and folk values; promotion of the history of the people's region; familiarization with the life and work of prominent figures of the region; cultural and educational events.

Recently, interest in the historical values   of the region has been manifested and the number of museum visitors is increasing. The museum works closely with kindergartens, schools in the city and the district. According to the plan, various thematic events are held. Thanks to the intensive work of employees, the museum fund is replenished with exhibits. Every year, on the eve of the Museum Day, an action is organized and held to collect materials, exhibits "Zhіdіger zherde қ almasyn!."
