Pendants – earrings

Aktobe Regional Museum of History and Local Lore

Consists of two parts: Part 1 is a round metal wire, and Part 2 is a circle with two mountain images created using the budding method. This part is made of three metals welded together, with two strips of grain patterned with ears of wheat between them.
Period: Early Iron Age
Material: yellow metal.
Technique: tempering, welding, budding, decoration.
Dimensions: Diameter - 2.5 cm, 3 cm. Width - 1 cm.
Found in: Segizay burial site II, Oilil district, Aktobe region, 1st burial mound, 2nd grave (2010).
