Stone Sculpture with Orkhon Inscription

Zhambyl Regional Historical and Local Lore Museum

The sculpture is made of gray granite and is fully preserved. It depicts a male figure. The head is oval-shaped. Facial features such as eyebrows, eyes, nose, lips, and ears are fully represented. In the right hand, a cylindrical container is depicted. On the waist, inside a belt-like strip, there is an Orkhon inscription.

The artifact was found in Tuymekent village, Baizak District, Zhambyl Region.
